Club Notes

Kellogg Garden Club

The Kellogg Garden Club and spouses toured the Plum Creek Garden Railroad in Sully in July. The group enjoyed a potluck at the east shelter in Rock Creek State Park before journeying to Sully.

The club will divide the proceeds from the High Tea between Rock Creek Lake Alliance and a scholarship program for landscape design and horticulture students. Rock Creek Lake Alliance will direct the contribution to the cost of erecting a handicapped accessible fishing pier on the west shore of Rock Creek Lake.

The next meeting will include a garden tour at the Newton home of Lea and Fred Chabot on Aug. 28.
