Ava “Louise” McCloney, daughter of Ellis Elmer Culbertson and Flora Vasti Bellon Culbertson, was born Feb. 7, 1921, in Lucas County, Iowa, and passed from this life Sunday, July 29, 2012, at West View Care Center in Indianola at 91 years of age.

Louise leaves to cherish her memory a son, Robert R. (Sandra) McCloney of Newton; daughter, Betty Jean (Dwayne) Dickey of Indianola; five grandchildren, Kelly Mull (Steve Erickson) of Indianola, Jennie McCloney (Cory Beals) of Melbourne, Iowa, Brian Dickey (Mendy) of Omaha, Neb., Jodi Aldrich (Craig) of Altoona, Iowa, and Jaime McCloney (Donald Scarborough) of Garner, N.C.; 11 great-grandchildren, Alex, Madelyn, Abigail, Ben, Quintin, Josephine, Nick, Tyler, Charlie, Emileigh and Jackson; one step-great grandson, Tanner; as well as other relatives and many friends.

Services will be held at Kale Funeral Home in Osceola on Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Phil Coe officiating.
