Article:	JCARL gets birthday gifts When Jordan Norvell, Chet Adams, Brooke Wolfe and Emily Miller held a joint birthday party at the Maytag Pool on June 28, they decided to ask those attending the party to bring cash or supplies for the animals at the Jasper County Animal Rescue League instead of gifts. With nearly 100 friends attending, the birthday group collected $305 in cash as well as a wide variety of toys, treats, food, soap and even peanut butter. The cash will be used for the medicine fund, which provides a chance for veterinary treatment for animals in need.
