Fair wraps up a hot run
The 2012 edition of the Jasper County Fair wrapped up Thursday evening with a livestock auction, capping a rather warm seven-day run.
Despite a few glitches, Fairboard President Dan Wasson called the fair a success.
“The weather was pretty miserable, but the crowds were good and the exhibitors and their parents were very cooperative,” Wasson said. “It’s been a challenge, but we got along real well.”
