‘The Dark Knight Rises’ showing in area theaters

Fans of Batman will have plenty of choices for viewing the latest installment of the popular comic book character. “The Dark Knight Rises” is showing at the Valle Drive-In in Newton daily at 8:30 p.m. The movie also will be showing at the Capitol II Theater in Newton daily at 2:30 and 6:30 p.m. and Friday through Sunday and Wednesday at 9:30 p.m. In addition, you can see the movie at the Strand in Grinnell daily at 6:30 and 9:40 p.m., Friday through Monday and Thursday at 3:10 p.m., and matinees on Saturday and Sunday at noon.
