To the Editor:

Yet another assault on private property. It’s happening bold and fast, following on the heels of our stupendous move toward government-centered society, thanks to the Supreme Court’s decision on the Affordable Care Act aka Obamacare.

Now the city of San Bernardino, Calif., is floating a proposal to use its power of eminent domain to take over mortgages from investors. The mortgages at issue are underwater but whose homeowners are current on their payments.
