Iowan faces new charges tied to jail escape
WATERLOO (AP) — Several new charges have been filed against a man who escaped from Black Hawk County Jail in Waterloo last week.
The Waterloo-Cedar Falls Courier says 25-year-old Jeremy Mask, of Traer, is charged with felony escape, felony eluding, second-degree theft, third-degree burglary and two counts of operating a vehicle without the owners’ consent.
Mask remains in jail. He was captured Friday morning south of La Porte City. He escaped Thursday afternoon.
