Owl Sighting

A Newton Daily News reader spotted a parliament of owls — including the one pictured above — in the back yard of his residence on East Eighth Street North. The normally nocturnal creatures took advantage of the resident’s bird bath, even though it was still daylight outside, to stay cool.
