First NPD Travilin' Traffic Ace's winner announced
Camielle Schippers of Newton is the this year's first mug distribution winner for the Newton Police Department's TRAVELIN' TRAFFIC ACE XVI program. She was observed as having safe and courteous driving skills such as driving the speed limit and wearing a seat belt.
As a drawing winner, Schippers received a package of donated prizes including a family bowling party from Cardinal Lanes, two complimentary casses to the Valle Drive-In, coupon for a free fruit pie at Perkins, free combo meal at Kentucky Fried Chicken, one free buffet at Pizza Ranch, two Free Taco John’s Breakfast combo meals, five Free Taco John’s combo meals, two free 6 inch sandwiches at Subway, three free two scoop Sundaes from Culver’s and a $5 video card from Family Video
The ACE XVI campaign features a travel mug awarded by a police officer who observes drivers displaying safe and courteous driving. The travel mug is refillable with free fountain soda pop provided by local participating businesses. The campaign runs July - Aug. 2012.
