YMCA, United Way Kids’ Express coming to Prairie City, Sully

The Newton YMCA and United Way of Jasper County have teamed up to provide a summer recreation program for area youth.

The YMCA Kids’ Express will be from 9 to 11 a.m. July 16-20 and July 23-27 at the community park in Prairie City. Kids’ Express also will be in Sully at the city park on the square from 1 to 3 p.m. July 16-20.

The fun is open to boys and girls 6 to 12 years and is completely free to participants. Activities include games, fitness, team-building exercises, arts and crafts led by YMCA staff.
