Lynnville-Sully baseball falls to BGM, 15-5
The Lynnville-Sully baseball team suffered its third straight loss on Tuesday, falling 15-5 on the road to Brooklyn-Guernsey-Malcom in South Iowa Cedar League action.
The Bears led 7-0 before the Hawks (10-14, 9-10) scored twice each in the fourth and fifth innings, and then BGM scored six more runs in the sixth inning.
The Bears totaled 15 hits and 18 stolen bases, while Lynnville-Sully was held to three hits. The Hawks host Belle Plaine today and are at Montezuma on Friday before hosting Pleasantville on Tuesday in a Class 1A District Quarterfinal.
