In a shortened agenda Tuesday, the Jasper County Board of Supervisors agreed to amend the salary of Elderly Nutrition director Kelli Van Manen.

Jasper County Human Resources Director Dennis Simon informed the supervisors that when Van Manen was hired for the position on June 21, 2010, she was placed in the wrong pay plan. Although it was the intent of the supervisors at the time to place Van Manen in the same pay range as the previous Elderly Nutrition director, that was not done.

Van Manen’s salary had been set at $38,754. As of Sunday, her salary has been adjusted to $39,801, and will increase to $40,880 on June 21, 2013.
