Marjorie Ann Hendricks, 90, of Newton passed away Sunday, July 1, at her home in Newton.

A visitation with the family will be at noon until 1:15 p.m. Thursday, July 5, at the Pence-Reese Funeral Home in Newton, which has been entrusted with the arrangements. A funeral service for Marjorie will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 5, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hewitt Cemetery in rural Reasnor. Memorials are being designated in Marjorie’s name or to the American Heart Association and may be left at the funeral home.

Marjorie the daughter of Merlin and Mary G. (DeBruyn) Schnug, was born March 24, 1922, in rural Reasnor. She was a graduate of the Newton Senior High, Class of 1940. She had also received Normal Training, and taught rural country schools in the Reasnor and Galesburg areas.
