Raiders take fourth in midwest tournament

The Collins-Maxwell-Baxter youth basketball traveling team played in a tournament on June 23 in Minneapolis, Minn., where the Raiders placed fourth out of eight teams from the states of Iowa, Minnesota, North Dakota and South Dakota. Each state brought its state champion — CMB was Iowa’s state champion — and runner-up to the tournament. The event was held at the Target Center — home to the NBA’s Minnesota Timberwolves. The Raiders played three games, one of which was on the NBA court. The team and its parents would like to thank all who supported them and gave donations.
