Nature Tots set for Saturday
at Neal Smith Wildlife Refuge

Children ages 3 to 5 are invited to bring their favorite adult and join a refuge naturalist in reading stories, going outside, making nature crafts, learning about stars on the prairie and more.

The program, set for 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the Neal Smith National Wildlife Refuge, is free and open to the public. Those interested in participating are asked to register by contacting Michelle Garcia at (515) 994-3400 or michelle_garcia@fws.gov.

Nature Tots is an educational program designed for young learners. Lessons focus on engaging children’s senses and use hands-on and interactive activities.
