The Skiff Auxiliary recently expanded the Skiff Medical Center gift shop and is hosting an open house in the gift shop from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday.

Refreshments will be served, and there will be a table of sale items along with new Skiff merchandise and apparel. All proceeds from sales at the gift shop are donated to Skiff Medical Center for equipment purchases and scholarships. Last year, the Skiff Auxiliary provided $6,500 in scholarships to Jasper County students and $13,459 to Skiff for equipment purchases.
