Garbage collection routes shifted for Fourth of July
Since the Newton Sanitary Landfill will be closed on Wednesday, the Wednesday and Thursday residential garbage/recycling collection for City of Newton will move back one day next week.
Those whose regular garbage collection day is on Wednesday will have their garbage and recycling collected on Thursday, and Thursday collection routes will be done on Friday.
