Wardell visits Newton library
Dan Wardell, popular Iowa Public Television kid’s host, visited the Newton Public Library on Tuesday as part of his Reading Road Trip to libraries across Iowa this summer. According to Youth Services Librarian Phyllis Peter, 250 children came to hear stories, and Dan Wardell encouraged them to use their superpowers to read lots of books all summer long. Pictured are three super readers, Gavin Smead, Karter Smead and Landon Bozarth with the frisbees they received from Iowa Public Television.
