Area firefighters battled it out with fire hoses Friday night as part of the celebrations at Prairie Days in Prairie City. Below right: the Za-Ga-Zig Shrine clowns made an appearance in the Prairie Days parade as well. Attendance was fairly good for Prairie Days despite the intermittent rain throughout the day, including a brief downpour as parade participants were lining up.
