Money raised could help others in community

To the Editor,

Sixty thousand dollars out of our community this time (for Relay for Life), and $55,000 the last time, to give to the cancer industry to help keep their researchers happy, but we couldn’t find any money to keep an orchestra in our schools for our kidlets?
