Knabel working with city staff on Newton goals

Forward. That’s the direction Newton City Administrator Bob Knabel has in mind for Newton. The city’s department directors met recently, Knabel’s weekly report noted, and the group discussed directions for the organization and general goals and strategy.

“While there have been numerous conversations about being a ‘high performing organization,’ during this time the expectations were spelled out as to how we can go about achieving that goal,” Knabel said in the report.

The group covered the four core values of all high-performing organizations.
