Gwendolyn Marcsisak, 94, of Colfax died Wednesday, June 20, 2012, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton.

A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Monday, June 25, at Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. Burial will follow at the Colfax Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 24, at the funeral home. The daughter of Ira Jacob and Lavona (Hedrick) Jontz, Gwen was born on Nov. 21, 1917, in Lorimor, Iowa. On March 13, 1938, she was united in marriage to Carl Marcsisak in Nevada, Iowa. Gwen was a member of the Colfax United Methodist Church. She loved her family and especially enjoyed her grandchildren.
