Rep. Dan Kelley selected as 2012 Toll Fellow
LEXINGTON, Ky. — Rep. Dan Kelley of Newton is one of 40 emerging state leaders from across the nation who have been selected for the prestigious Toll Fellowship Program sponsored by The Council of State Governments.
Kelley was selected from many outstanding applicants by a committee of state elected and appointed officials as one of the most promising leaders of state government. Past Toll Fellowship graduates include governors, U.S. senators and members of Congress as well as leaders in state government.
“I am thrilled to be selected for the Toll Fellowship. This is a great opportunity to meet legislators from around the country and improve my leadership skills. I hope to bring those skills back to represent you in the Iowa Legislature,” Kelley said.
