Arvin Dale Fagg Sr., 75, of Colfax died Saturday, June 16, 2012, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton.

A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 21, at the First Baptist Church in Colfax with burial following at the Colfax Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday at the church. Memorials may be directed to the First Baptist Church and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com.

The son of Fred W. and Veda (Funkhouser) Fagg, Arvin was born on April 1, 1937, in Terra Haute, Ind. On Sept. 26, 1975, he was united in marriage to Bonnie Jean Bell at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. Arvin drove trucks for a living and retired in 1999. He was also a member of the Foursquare Church.
