Kerri Ann Brenner, 33, of Colfax died Wednesday, June 13, 2012, at Taylor House in Des Moines.

A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday June 18, at the Howard Street Christian Church in Colfax. Burial will follow at McKeever Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, June 17, at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Howard Street Christian Church Building Fund, and condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com.

The daughter of William A. Jennings and Rhonda J. (Van Dusseldorp) Spain, Kerri was born on Nov. 2, 1978, in Des Moines. She graduated from Colfax Mingo High School in 1997. She attended and graduated from Mercy College of Health Sciences in 1999. She then went to work as a Radiological Tech at Iowa Ortho in Des Moines. On April 22, 2006, she was united in marriage to Travis E. Brenner in Colfax.  Kerri was a member of the Howard Street Christian Church. She loved the band Aerosmith, enjoyed gardening and climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro with Above and Beyond Cancer.

Those left to honor her include husband and daughter, Travis and Lily June of Colfax; her mother Rhonda (Larry) Spain of Colfax; her father, Bill (Sheryl) Jennings of Prairie City; two half-sisters, Lindsey and Molly Jennings; and her grandmother, Mary Ellen Van Dusseldorp of Colfax. Preceding Kerri in death was her brother, Brian, in 2000 and her grandparents.
