Work at NFD clears way for sculpture
A crew from Newton Water Works spent Monday removing the flagpole and retaining wall at the Newton Fire Department. The work will make way for the Firefighter Tribute sculpture being created by Reasnor artist Nick Klepinger. The installation is scheduled for Sept. 11.
