Students awarded band camp scholarships

The Dunitz Scholarship is provided annually by Jeri Dunitz for Newton Senior High School band students to be used toward summer music camps. Jeri and her late husband have been ardent band supporters for years. Up to $3,000 is allotted each year and students must send in an application, essay and two letters of recommendation. Applications are chosen based on character, musicianship and dedication to the Newton Band Program. Pictured (front row, from left) are Courtney Tabor, Dorian Music Camp; C.J.
