Sophie Mae Hartz

David and Amanda Hartz of Monroe announce the birth of their daughter, Sophie Mae Hartz, on Thursday, April 5, 2012, at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines.

She weighed 7 pounces, 2 ounces, and was 191⁄2 inches in length. She has two siblings, Dawson, 7, and Lilly, 3.

Grandparents are Don and Darlene Seibert of Monroe and Steve and Janet Hartz of Newton.

Great-grandparents are Calvin Seibert of Pleasantville and Phyllis Seibert of Phoenix, Ariz.
