Skiff, Shay’s have great gifts

One of Newton’s greatest treasures is Skiff Medical Center with its state-of-the-art equipment, expert medical staff and its commitment to providing the best possible care and service in Jasper County.

Another gem withing the hospital is the gift shop with its unique products. The Auxiliary is thankful to the dedicated volunteers who staff the gift shop, purchase and display the merchandise and do the bookkeeping.

Recently, the gift shop was the recipient of a generous donation from Shay’s Tea Room & Gifts, consisting of beautiful new infant items, children’s toys and clothing. We wish to extend our appreciation for their in-kind contribution and we’re delighted to have such a lovely business here in Newton.

We encourage you to visit both Shay’s Tea Room, 223 W. Fourth St. S., and the Auxiliary gift shop located inside the main entrance of the hospital. We have unique baby gifts, jewelry, purses and items for every occasion. The gift shop is open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

We encourage everyone to look into the available services at Skiff. Thank you for your support to the Skiff Auxiliary.
