Newton landfill changes hours

Beginning Monday, the Newton Sanitary Landfill will close one hour earlier on weekdays, making the new hours from 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Monday through Friday.

As in the past, the landfill will be open on Saturday mornings from April 1 through Oct. 31. However, the landfill will open one hour later on Saturday, making the new Saturday hours from 8 to 11:45 a.m.
