Three inches of snow fell in Newton

Sliding enthusiasts like this child at Sunset Park received about 3 inches of snow on Saturday, perfect for sledding, tubing and snowboarding. The heavy snow was less fun to clean up as Bruce Schroder noticed as he attempted to clean his sidewalks with a snowblower. Temperatures were expected to rise above freezing today before dropping on Tuesday with a chance for more snow.
