Tim Patton and Jessy Fisher of Newton announce the birth of their son, Brody Scott Patton, on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton.

Grandparents are Ron Fisher and Scott and Gale Patton, all of Newton; Anthony and Donna Lopez of Aurora, Colo.; and Tammy Hoffman of Lynnville.

Great-grandparents are Richard Hoffman of Lynnville, Judy Hopkins of Ottumwa and Bill and Bobette Patton of Newton.
