David H. Krumm

David Henry Krumm, 79, of Rock Creek Lake died on Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, at his home.

A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 6, at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton, officiated by the Rev. Gary Marzolf of the First United Methodist Church in Newton.

The family will greet friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 5, at the funeral home.       

Burial will be at the Rock Creek Cemetery in Rock Creek Township of Jasper County.            

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to the Skiff Cancer Clinic or to the Rock Creek Grange Camp may be left at the funeral home. Memorials may also be mailed to the funeral home. Please add, Attn: Krumm Family on the envelope.

Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Carolyn of Rock Creek; four sons, David (Lisa) Krumm of Rock Creek, Donald (Robin) Krumm of Grinnell, Dean (Lynda) Krumm of Iowa Falls and Daniel (Sharon) Krumm of Rock Creek; daughter, Kim (Todd) Brammer of Wylie, Texas; his 11 grandchildren, Jenny, Samantha, Alyson, Heather, Kourtney, Brandon, Madison, Michelle, David, Melissa and Kaitlee; great-grandson, Epic; and his brother, Paul Krumm of Kanopolis, Kan.
