Weston, Bredfield united in marriage

Kelly Marie Weston and Thomas Andrew Bredfield were united in marriage on Saturday, July 16, 2011, at Cedar Hills Community Church in Cedar Rapids with Pastor Leonard “Doc” Ransom officiating over the ceremony.

Katy Weston, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Danielle Johnson, Sarah Manatt, Janelle Ellis and Jamie DeGoey, all friends of the bride. Katrina Grey, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl.

Dan Bredfield, brother of the groom, was the best man, and groomsmen were Scott Berger, Jeff McDonald, Jeff Graham and Sean Sullivan, all friends of the bride and groom. Logan Grey, cousin of the bride, was the ring bearer.

A cocktail hour, dinner and dance followed the wedding ceremony at the Marriott Hotel in Cedar Rapids.

Kelly is the daughter of Kris and Craig Weston of Newton. She graduated from Newton Senior High School in 2005 and from Coe College in Cedar Rapids in 2009. She is a social worker at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics.

Thomas is the son of Sue and Will Bredfield of Fishers, Ind. He graduated from Mahomet-Seymour High School in Illinois in 2005 and from Coe College in Cedar Rapids in 2009. He is a second grade teacher at Horace Mann Elementary School in Iowa City.

The couple honeymooned in the Bahamas following the wedding. They reside in Iowa City.
