Cartoon ‘disgraceful’

To the Editor,

How could you? The cartoon on Jan. 20 of Satan vs. God was disgraceful and had no place in our daily newspaper. It was pure mockery. Here is a young athlete who is known for his love of God and country and is made fun of. He is a role model for all young athletes across the country and that is so encouraging. We should be proud of all our young men and women who take a stand for Jesus Christ.

I think the Newton Daily News owes all of its readers an apology. It should never happen again.
