Library auctioning off furniture

The Newton Public Library is having a blind bid auction through 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, for office cubical panels, desk tabletops and connecting hardware.

Completed bid forms may be turned in at the information desk before the deadline. Cash or good checks will be accepted on the day of removal of the items by the buyer. Cubical panels, desk tabletops and connecting hardware sell as one unit. Cubical panels measure at 24-by-36 inches to 42-by-51 inches, and the desktops measure at 24-by-30 inches to 30-by-36 inches.

All items are sold “as is” and need to be removed from the library by the buyer by the end of the day Feb. 14.
