Sister City Awareness Month

Newton Mayor Chaz Allen has recently proclaimed January as Sister City Awareness Month. Newton enjoys Sister City relationships with Smila, Ukraine, and WuChi, Tai Chung County, Taiwan Province, Republic of China. Benefits of those relationships include educational, cultural and government exchanges, humanitarian aid efforts and the establishing of lasting friendships.
