Local Central students to study abroad this fall
PELLA— Kelsey Moes of Newton, Nicole Ferguson of Baxter and Megan Joy of Colfax will participate in the Central College Abroad program during the 2011 fall semester.
Moes, a biology major, and Joy, a computer science major, both will be studying abroad in Bangor, Wales. Both are juniors at Central. Ferguson, a senior general studies major, will be studying in Leiden, the Netherlands.
Central College, an established leader in the field of international education having worked with more than 10,000 students from 400 American colleges and universities since the study abroad program began in 1965, offers eight international programs including: Austria, China, England, France, Mexico, the Netherlands, Spain and Wales. Central’s study abroad program is recognized by U.S. News & World Report in the programs to look for category.
