The Easter Bunny will be busy this weekend, as there are at least two separate Easter egg hunts scheduled in Newton.
Take the kiddies to enjoy an old-fashioned egg hunt at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Newton YMCA soccer fields, 1701 S. Eighth Ave. E. There will be three separate egg hunts for kids from infant through sixth grade. There also will be craft time starting at 12:30 p.m. to decorate an Easter bag. This is a free event.
Heritage Manor, 1743 S. Eighth Ave. E., also is hosting a community Easter egg hunt Saturday at 1 p.m. Candy and lots of prizes will be available. Call (641) 792-5680 for more information.
