“We look forward to the state fair every year and the opportunity to meet with future students, parents and UIU alums,” UIU President Alan G. Walker said. “We change people’s lives when we award these scholarships and free courses. When these students become part of Upper Iowa University, they have the opportunity to get a college education that will prepare them for something greater in their lives. We’re proud to be able to give them that start in life.”

A winner of a free UIU courses was drawn each day of the Fair. Among the 11 winners was Sheldon Johnson of Kellogg.
