Gluten-free baking with Anna Sobaski on Saturday at library

Anna Sobaski, creator of Breads From Anna®, will present a gluten-free cooking workshop beginning at 12:30 p.m. Saturday in the Newton Public Library meeting room.

Sobaski’s workshop is designed to help people enjoy a gluten-free lifestyle. The workshop will include tips on baking with various flours and starches and offers attendees an opportunity to taste great gluten-free baked goods. Call the library at (641) 792-4108 to register for the workshop.

Sobaski travels all over the country teaching classes and workshops and speaking at conferences, support groups and a number of health food stores. She developed the Breads From Anna® line in 2004 with only one product, the Original Gluten, Soy, Nut and Rice Free Bread Mix. Now, five years later, there are 10 products total, sold in hundreds of stores all over the world. She has an undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and a master of fine arts degree from the Maryland Institute College of Art.
