A benefit supper for Toni Logue — the wife of former Newton resident Mike Logue who is undergoing treatment for breast cancer — is scheduled for 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the Knoxville Farm Bureau, located at 1017 N. Lincoln in Knoxville.

Beefburgers, chips, baked beans, desserts and beverages will be served for a freewill offering. All proceeds will assist the Logues with medical costs, and Thrivent will be matching the donations. The event also will feature a craft and bake sale.

Donations for the Logue family also may be sent to them at 1301 E. Robinson St., Knoxville, IA 50138.
