SCORE offering business workshops

Service Corps of Retired Executives (SCORE), counselors to America’s small businesses, will offer a free small business workshop from 5:45 to 9 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, March 22 and 24, at the DMACC Newton Campus in the NDC Conference Room.

Monday’s session will cover state accounting, banking, personal factors, banking and insurance. Wednesday’s session will cover federal taxes, marketing, legal issues, business plans and success in small business.

The sessions are free. Reservations must be made by calling (641) 787-8210 by 4 p.m. Thursday, March 18.
