Local Daughters of the American Revolution chapter meets Saturday
The Grinnell Chapter National Society Daughters of the American Revolution will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Newton YMCA.
Darlene Leib will serve as hostess for the morning and also present a program on a trip to a historic Amish area.

On April 10, the Grinnell Chapter NSDAR is sponsoring a free genealogy workshop open to the public at the new Drake Community Library, located at Fifth Avenue and Park Street in Grinnell, from 9:30 a.m. to noon. DAR-trained genealogists will give tips and assistance in researching your family’s history.
