A chilly and windy Saturday morning didn’t stop Peter Barnhart of Newton from checking out the bald eagles fishing in the Des Moines river below the Red Rock Dam. Lake Red Rock and the Corps of Engineers were celebrating Bald Eagle Days Saturday with viewing points below the dam as well as programs and displays at Central College’s Douwstra Auditorium.
