Local Coe College student named to dean’s list

CEDAR RAPIDS — Richard Appleby, son of Jim and Mary Appleby of Newton and a senior at Coe College, has been named to the school’s dean’s list for the fall 2009 semester.

Full-time students who rank in the top 10 percent of the student body are named to the dean’s list. For the fall semester, students achieving a grade point average of 3.9 or higher earned this honor. Located near the heart of Cedar Rapids, Coe College is a nationally-recognized liberal arts college providing educational experiences for students since 1851.
