Iowa Hospice needs volunteers
Iowa Hospice is seeking compassionate individuals who are willing to donate their time, effort and talent as part of a team to care for dying patients and their families while serving as hospice volunteers this year.
There are several ways Iowa Hospice volunteers make a difference, including patient care, bereavement support and office/staff support. Activities are flexible and involvement can be altered to fit the volunteer’s schedule.
Iowa Hospice was founded in 2005, provides service to 90 counties. Iowa Hospice is available to anyone with any life-limiting illness, regardless of their ability to pay. Services out of the Waterloo office reach patients and families in Marshall, Story, Hamilton, Hardin, Tama, Jasper and Poweshiek counties.
