Regional, district track sites determined by state

The locations of the 2010 girls regional and boys district track and field meets have been determined by the Iowa High School Athletic Association and the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.

In Class 4A, regional and district sites will be at Iowa City West, North Scott Eldridge, Sioux City North, Marshalltown, Urbandale and Waukee.

Newton, which was hoping to host the meet at its newly remodeled facility, is expected to compete at either Marshalltown or Urbandale.

In Class 2A, Cherokee, Eddyville-Blakesburg, Garner-Hayfield, Monticello, North Fayette West Union, Ogden, Roland-Story and Tri-Center Neola all will host the regional and district meets.

CMB, PCM and Colfax-Mingo are all expected to compete at either Ogden or Roland-Story.

In Class 1A, Lynnville-Sully could be sent to BGM-Brooklyn. Other district and regional sites include Armstrong-Ringstead, Audubon, Ed-Co-Edgewood, Grundy Center, Guthrie Center, Laurens-Marathon, Martensdale-St. Marys, Mount Ayr, Southeast Webster, Waco-Wayland and West Sioux.
