Bringing down the house

Jon Groeneveld was busy demolishing the apartment building at the intersection of South Second Avenue and East Second Street on Monday. Levi Pence, who owns the lot, said he had no immediate construction plans for the lot but will be talking with city officials and Newton Development Corp. in the coming months to determine what would be a good development potential.
