Newton FFA

On Oct. 13, 23 FFA members participated in multiple judging contests in Marysville, Mo. The livestock judging group received ninth place and the team leader was Kole Wilson with 11th place; floriculture received sixth and the team leader was Mallory Cox with 31st place; soils judging team received sixth and the team lead was Carson Claypool with 25th place; horse judging team received eighth and the team leader was Alex Cleverley with ninth place; and FFA Knowledge received fourth and the team was led by Matt Stock who placed third. 

Newton FFA members Kole Wilson, Matt Stock, Brittany Shaw, Morgan Smith, Tiffany Larson, Alex Cleverley and chapter advisor James Horn also traveled to Indianapolis, Ind., in October for the National FFA Convention. The members attended convention sessions, the ag career show and leadership workshops.
